June 18: Ahmadi man killed in Lahore

A member of the Jamaat-i-Ahmadia was shot dead in Green Town, allegedly because of his faith. Four armed teenagers entered Jawad Karim’s house and murdered him. Local clerics and vigilante groups have been particularly hostile towards members of the Ahmadi community in the city of late. Express Tribune

June 20: Christian women forced to parade naked

Three Christian women were attacked and paraded naked by a mob with the support of the ruling party, the PML-N in the city of Lahore. The incident occurred on the night of June 3 when the attackers armed with weapons and batons entered the women’s house and started beating them up. The party workers then took the women out into the street and tore their clothes off. They started shouting to attract the attention of the people nearby.

The cause of the incident was apparently the trespassing of goats owned by the women onto land owned by a landlord named Munir.  Daily Times

June 20: Suicide attack at Shia Madrassa kills 14 in Peshawar

A suicide bomber blew himself up in Gulshan Colony, Peshawar, killing 14 and leaving 32 injured. The Hussaini Madrassa, the target of the blast, had around 40 people inside it at the time of the blast. People inside the madrassa were preparing for Friday prayers at the time of the blast. Express Tribune
