February 16: Bomb near school in Wah Cantt defused

A potential bomb explosion outside a school in Wah Cantt was averted when students reported a suspicious bag to the school administration. The bag, which was hidden in a dust bin outside the school building, was shifted to a nearby ground by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) who defused the device.The News

February 18: Three killed in attack on Islamabad Imambargah

At least three people were killed and two others injured in a gun-and-suicide-bomb attack on an imambargah in the federal capital. The attack took place during Maghrib prayers at the Imambargah Qasr-e-Sakina. An attacker entered the building and shot dead a guard and worshipper before detonating his explosives. However, the remaining security guards had reacted to the initial attack by bolting the majority of the worshippers within the main hall, sparing them from the attack. The News

February 18: Prayer leader gunned down in Mansehra

A local prayer leader was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Oghi, near Mansehra. The prayer leader, Shah Memood Rizvi, who was affiliated with Ahle Sunnat faction, was on his way home when gunmen opened fire at him, leaving him dead. The News
