April 9: Shia doctor killed in Karachi

A general physician was shot dead in yet another sectarian attack on a Shia professional in Karachi. The victim was in-charge of the emergency department at the Darul-Sehat hospital and also served as a professor at the Karachi university. Pakistan Today

April 10: Shopkeeper gunned down in Karachi sectarian attack

A shopkeeper was killed and another injured in a suspected sectarian attack. Ghulam Hussain Baqar was sitting at his shop when pillion riders opened fire and fled, leaving him and another man, Ali Hussain, wounded. An angry mob took away the body without allowing doctors to complete legal formalities. Dawn

April 12: Two Shia Hazaras killed in Quetta

Armed militants killed two Shia Hazaras after stopping a bus and singling out the two victims, who were shot in an execution style killing. The attack on Quetta’s besieged Hazara community was later claimed by the banned militant group, the Jaish-ul-Islam. Pakistan Today
