Unidentified gunmen shot at and injured a polio worker before fleeing from the scene. The News 

February 19: Government school attacked in Dera Ismail Khan

Militants blew up part of a newly constructed government school in South Waziristan. Shortly after, 18 labourers working on the site were abducted. They were released later. Daily Times
