March 17: Two polio workers killed in Mansehra

Two lady health workers and a police constable were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire at a polio vaccination team on the outskirts of Mansehra. Express Tribune

March 18: Another polio worker attacked in Bajaur Agency

Unknown gunmen attacked a polio vaccination team in Bajaur Agency’s Nawagai tehsil, killing one worker and leaving another injured. The extremist militant group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) took responsibility of the killing. Dawn

March 18: Boys school bombed in Mohmand

Militants in the Yakaghund area of lower Mohmand detonated explosives planted at a local government school for boys, completely destroying the building. Extremist groups in the tribal agencies have consistently attacked government schools in the region as part of their violent campaign against ‘western-style’ education. Dawn

March 20: Shia leader gunned down in Gujranwala

A leader of the Shia community in Gujranwala was left dead after he was gunned down by four assailants. Syed  Mazahir Ali Bukhari, who was also a member of the district peace committee, was travelling with his nephew, Haider Shah, when both of them were attacked. Shah escaped injuries but his uncle died on the spot. Dawn

March 20: Bohra mosque attacked in Karachi

Two worshippers were killed and nearly a dozen wounded in a bomb blast outside a mosque of the Dawoodi Bohra community. The blast, which occurred in the congested Aram Bagh  neighbourhood, took place around 1:50pm when worshippers were exiting the Saleh Masjid after Juma prayers. Around 10 worshippers were wounded in the blast, which ripped off the shutters of several nearby shops and damaged half a dozen motorcycles.
