A senior lawyer from the Shia community, who also served as counsel for various activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was shot dead in Karachi. March 4: ASWJ activist gunned down in Peshawar

An activist of the banned extremist group, the ASWJ, was shot dead outside his residence in Yakatoot in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police officials identified the murdered man as Mohammad Zahid, adding that the attackers escaped on a motorcycle. Dawn

March 4: ASWJ Secretary General killed in Karachi

The wave of targeted attacks against the senior leadership of the banned sectarian group, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) continued in Karachi after the General Secretary of the party was killed by unknown gunmen. The attack also left the driver of the vehicle dead.  The News
