The data trends identified through this exercise have been published in JI’s Extremism Watch reports and Hate Tracker, which confirm and supplement statistical trends for violent extremism recorded by other research publications. The data presented in this feature has been collated from mainstream news reportage for terrorist attacks, ethnic strife, persecution of religious minorities, interfaith conflict, sexual and gender based violence.
